The Agency publishes a proposal for a General Act on the methodology for the supervision of audiovisual media services, radio broadcasting and video-sharing platforms

The Agency for Communications Networks and Services of the Republic of Slovenia invites the interested public to submit comments, suggestions or amendments to the draft General Act on the Methodology for the Supervision of Audiovisual Media Services, Radio Broadcasting Programmes and Video Sharing Platforms, which the Agency has prepared on the basis of the Media Act (ZMed-1), by 2  March 2026 inclusive.The draft General Act on the Methodology for the Supervision of Audiovisual Media Services, Radio Broadcasting Programmes and Video Sharing Platforms is available for public consultation.

The General Act determines the method of determining compliance with certain requirements and restrictions arising from the ZMed-1 and the Law on Audiovisual Media Services (ZAvMS), the form and method of storage of recordings and the technical characteristics and equipment of recordings under the ZMed-1 and ZAvMS, the content of the information referred to in Article 40(3), (4) and (5) of the ZAvMS, the classification of content as arising from the ZMed-1 and ZAvMS and the forms of television advertising.

Any comments, suggestions or amendments should be sent in writing to the Agency for Communication Networks and Services of the Republic of Slovenia, Stegne 7, 1000 Ljubljana or by e-mail to info.box@akos-rs.si.

The Agency informs the interested public that, for the purposes of publication, comments must be submitted in a format that complies with the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act.
