The Agency for Communication Networks and Services of the Republic of Slovenia is designated as the single contact point of the Republic of Slovenia for the implementation of the Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act) in accordance with the Act on the Implementation of the Regulation (EU) on the Establishment of Harmonised Rules on Artificial Intelligence (ZIUDHPUI).
As a single contact point, the Agency acts as a link between the European institutions, national authorities in other Member States and Slovenian stakeholders. It aims to improve transparency, efficiency and information flow at EU level, in particular when communicating with the public, supervisory authorities and other stakeholders under the Act.
Each EU Member State appoints a market surveillance authority, which also acts as a single contact point. The EC maintains and publishes a list of all points of single contact in the Member States, which is publicly available.
The EU points of single contact allow for a harmonised implementation of the IM Act and facilitate cooperation and exchange of information between Member States and European institutions.
