Declaration of accessibility

This accessibility statement applies to www.akos-rs.si. The Agency for Communications Networks and Services of the Republic of Slovenia is committed to making the website accessible to users in accordance with the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act. We want to provide equal access to content for all visitors and users.

To ensure accessibility requirements, some systemic adjustments have been provided, such as:

• Responsive design (adapting the layout of content to the screen resolution),

• display of content for users of assistive technologies (e.g. screen readers, Braille),

• keyboard navigation (adaptation for users who cannot use a mouse),

• appropriate colour contrasts (between text and background),

• predictable website performance,

• the possibility to accompany images with alternative text,

• the possibility to use different levels of headings.

The www.akos-rs.si website is partially compliant with the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Apps Act due to the exceptions listed below.

The Agency for Communication Networks and Services of the Republic of Slovenia continuously monitors the accessibility of www.akos-rs.si and upgrades individual accessibility features. However, some of the content published does not meet all accessibility requirements as set out in the accessibility of websites and mobile applications act.

Examples of such content include:

• scanned documents in PDF format,

• parts of documents that are software-generated documents,

• various complex data tables,

• missing ALT descriptions on some images,

• missing subtitles in some published videos,

• organigrams.

This statement was prepared on 19 May 2023 on the basis of a self-assessment.

The statement was last reviewed on 4 February 2025.
