The Agency for Communication Networks and Services of the Republic of Slovenia hereby informs the public that the first public test of the SI-ALARM (Public Information and Alerting System on mobile public networks) will be carried out on the territory of the whole country on Saturday, 27 September 2025, at 12:00.
On the day a test message will be sent to the mobile phone of all mobile phone users who will be present on the territory of the Republic of Slovenia at the time and who have a mobile phone connected to the Slovenian mobile networks. The notification will be marked as TEST and will be accompanied by a loud beep.
The notification system does not replace the existing alarm system (sirens, media and web notifications), but complements it. The system does not collect data on which mobile phones the push message is delivered to.
You can read more about the SI-ALARM alerting and notification system in the link.
The funding for the set-up, maintenance and management of the mass public notification and alerting system is provided by the Republic of Slovenia under the Ministry of digital transformation and the European Union under the European Regional Development Fund. The call for tenders is implemented under the European Cohesion Policy Programme 2021-2027. For more information, please follow this link.
