The Agency hereby informs the public that the Ministry of Digital Transformation has published a call for tenders for the co-financing of the construction of open very high capacity fixed broadband networks or the upgrade of existing fixed networks (GOSO7).
The call for tenders is implemented under the European Cohesion Policy Programme for the period 2021-2027 in Slovenia (hereafter: the Programme) under Priority: Digital Connectivity Priority 2, Specific objective: RSO1.5 Improving digital connectivity (ERDF).
The subject of the call for proposals is the co-financing of the construction of open, very high capacity fixed broadband networks or the upgrade of existing networks that will allow white spot households to have reliable access to electronic communications services at all times, with typically available download speeds of at least 300 Mbps in the upstream direction and at least 100 Mbps in the downstream direction. This will be made available to households located in areas throughout the Republic of Slovenia where next-generation networks reliably providing a normal available data transmission speed of 100 Mbps towards the user do not exist today, or where there is no market interest in building them within the next three (3) years, or where projects already co-financed with public funds are not being implemented.
