AKOS and MiPi partners discuss current projects, common challenges and future activities
MIPI partners meeting

On 16 April 2026, the Agency for Communications Networks and Services (AKOS) hosted the regular MiPi partners' meeting, where participants addressed key challenges of the modern digital environment and reviewed current projects.

Understanding how online platforms work, protecting personal data, identifying misleading content and the importance of safe, responsible and thoughtful use of digital and media content were at the forefront of the discussion.

Partners highlighted the role of organisations, initiatives and the state in strengthening media and digital literacy and stressed the need for a more coherent and coordinated ecosystem in this area, as fragmentation reduces the impact of individual activities.

Today, the MiPi Partnership Network brings together 26 partners from the public, education, professional, media and NGO sectors, who together contribute to making the media and digital environment safer and more accountable for users.

AKOS, as the project promoter for the seventh year in a row, coordinates activities and ensures the production of professional and user-friendly content on the MiPi portal, addressing current challenges of users of communication services. The positive reactions of the different target groups confirm the importance of systematic awareness-raising in the field of media and digital literacy.

The meeting also presented AKOS's current activities, including achievements in the field of regulation of digital services, and the trusted whistleblower institute, which contributes to faster handling of illegal online content in line with the European Digital Services Act.
