The Agency for Communications Networks and Services of the Republic of Slovenia publishes a report on the development of the electronic communications market for the second quarter of 2025.
In the second quarter of 2025, the number of broadband internet access connections with speeds above 100 Mbit/s continues to grow, with almost 80% of all broadband connections having already reached this speed. Among the different types of service bundles, the number of bundles combining two or three services, i.e. twins and triplets, has increased the most over the period. The twin bundles grew to a 12% market share and the triple bundles to a 35% market share. The growth of four-service packages (quadruplets) has slowed down, with a share of 38%.
The growth trend in the number of active mobile users continued in the second quarter, with penetration reaching 131%, and in mobile internet, with total data traffic exceeding 120 million gigabytes in the period.
