The Agency for Communications Networks and Services of the Republic of Slovenia informs the interested public that it has updated the AKOS Geoportal with several new data layers that contribute to the transparency of the electronic communications market and facilitate access to relevant information for stakeholders.
The Agency has carried out two large-scale measurement campaigns in 2024 and 2025 to measure the coverage of public mobile networks with all available technologies. In 2024, a total of 4 200 kilometres were measured on the road network, and in 2025, a total of 1 208 kilometres were measured on the rail network. The published results allow users to check the quality and availability of the mobile signal on individual road and rail sections.
The portal also now displays the latest status from the geographical analysis of wholesale markets 1 and 3b/2014. This provides a quick overview of deregulated and lightly regulated areas and is aimed primarily at electronic communications operators.
The latest data from the Product and Service Analysis of the retail broadband access market is also added, providing insights into the competitiveness of the market and the diversity of the offer in each area.
Daily updates on household coverage of different types of broadband services are also available as part of the market analyses. Data are presented at the level of settlements, municipalities and regions.
