With regard to the public's questions about the network outage, the Agency for Communications Networks and Services of the Republic of Slovenia hereby informs that on 27 February 2026 at 17:42, the agency received a notification from A1 Slovenia about an outage of mobile signal, data transmission and fixed services in the entire territory of the Republic of Slovenia. The operator is in the process of resolving the matter.
The Agency would like to inform the public that operators are required by law to report security incidents to the Government Office for Information Security. They must notify the Agency of restrictions or interruptions due to regular or pre-planned upgrading, modernisation or maintenance of public communications networks. The Agency notes that, as of today, no such notification has been received from any operator.
