The Agency informs the public about the obligations for providers after the new Information security act entered into force

The Agency for Communications Networks and Services of the Republic of Slovenia informs the public that on 19 June 2025 a new Information security act came into force, which brings new features and obligations also for providers of public electronic communications networks and providers of public electronic communications services.

Pursuant to Article 8 of the Act, providers that meet the criteria for being obliged to comply with the Act must self-register through the self-registration mechanism established by the competent national authority for information security, the Information Security Office of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia.
