The Agency for Communications Networks and Services of the Republic of Slovenia publishes a report on the development of the electronic communications market for the third quarter of 2024.
During the period under review, the number of 5G network users continued to grow, registering an increase of 14% compared to the previous quarter, and now accounting for almost 30% of all active mobile telephony users. The downward trend in fixed telephony connections and traffic continues. The number of broadband internet access connections is increasing, mainly due to the growth in the number of connections based on FTTH technology and the growth in the number of fixed-mobile broadband internet access connections, which are considered as fixed access under the new definition of the European Commission.
