The Agency for Communications Networks and Services of the Republic of Slovenia publishes the Verification of interest in the demand for radio frequencies for the provision of public communications services to end-users in the 26 GHz and 40 GHz radio frequency bands.
The spectrum is intended for the deployment of very high-capacity fixed and wireless networks. The use is intended to meet the needs of providing very high-capacity base stations capable of gigabit transmission speeds:
- road and urban infrastructure (e.g. streetlights, traffic lights,
- railway infrastructure and energy installations/infrastructure,
- in high density areas such as convention centres, concert halls, stadiums, bus and train stations, shopping malls and similar locations.
The Agency has prepared questions to the interested public, which are set out in Section E of the attached document. The Agency invites the interested public to submit their answers, opinions and comments by ordinary mail to Stegne 7, 1000 Ljubljana, or by e-mail to: info.box@akos-rs.si.
