The Agency for Communications Networks and Services of the Republic of Slovenia publishes a model for calculating the WACC for price regulation of electronic communications. The interested public is invited to submit comments and suggestions on the published model by 24 October 2025 at the latest to the e-mail address info.box@akos-rs.si with reference number 38231-9/2025.
The WACC calculation model is prepared separately for two parts, namely:
- WACC calculation of a hypothetical efficient operator in the telecom industry for a legacy copper network;
- the calculation of the WACC of a hypothetical efficient operator in the telecoms industry for fixed NGA network infrastructure.
The Agency has calculated the WACC for the price regulation of electronic communications on the basis of the BEREC Report on parameters for the calculation of the WACC BoR (25) 64, in accordance with the European Commission's Notice on the calculation of the WACC.
