The Agency for Communication Networks and Services of the Republic of Slovenia informs the interested public about the public hearing on the proposal for the National Programme for Artificial Intelligence 2030, the central strategic framework of the Republic of Slovenia for the development and use of artificial intelligence until 2030, designed by the Ministry of Digital Transformation. The document is available here. The Ministry invites the interested public to familiarise themselves with the content of the proposal and to submit comments and suggestions up to and including 18 December 2025 to gp.mdp@gov.si.
The purpose of the proposal for the National Programme for Artificial Intelligence 2030 is to foster the development and responsible use of artificial intelligence in the economy, science, civil society and the public sector, to strengthen the competences of citizens and institutions, to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, and to build data and computing infrastructure to support economic growth, improve quality of life and strengthen the sovereignty of the state and society. The Programme also highlights the need to ensure conditions for the preservation, development and continued use of the Slovenian language in all environments where artificial intelligence is developed and used.
