BEREC invites to public briefing on the new presidency team and priorities for 2026

The Agency for Communication Networks and Services of the Republic of Slovenia informs the public that BEREC, the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications, will hold a public briefing on 8 October 2025 to present the newly elected Chairmanship and key priorities for 2026, in particular in relation to the expected proposal for a Digital Network Act. The presentation will highlight, among others, BEREC's priorities related to promoting connectivity, developing high-capacity networks, strengthening digital markets and protecting users' rights.

The incoming BEREC Chairperson and Director of the Agency, Mr. Marko Mishmash, BEREC's incoming Chairman and CEO, will present BEREC's draft Work Programme for 2026 and answer questions from stakeholders on the public consultation that will run from 3 October to 3 November 2025. In addition, the public briefing will also cover other key outcomes of the 64th BEREC Plenary Meeting, which will take place on 2 and 3 October 2025, in Bulgaria.
