Varuhinja pravic gledalcev in poslušalcev RTV Slovenija agenciji predstavila poročilo za leto 2024

The Agency for Communication Networks and Services of the Republic of Slovenia informs the public that the Ombudsman for the rights of viewers and listeners of RTV Slovenija, Marica Uršič Zupan, visited the Agency and presented the annual report of the Ombudsman to the Director of the Agency, mag. Marko Mišmaš. The focus of the meeting was on the reactions of viewers and listeners of RTV Slovenija in areas where the Agency also has competence.

For example, the Ombudsman highlighted, among other things, complaints about the advertising of food supplements. The Agency has been very active in this area in the recent period, having promoted and, in cooperation with several authorities, carried out a national awareness-raising campaign on the appropriateness of advertising of food supplements and the identification of controversial advertisements of this kind in the media. It also highlighted the importance of improving accessibility for people with sensory impairments to content on RTV Slovenija, noting that the Agency's active stakeholder platform on accessibility has also contributed to broader improvements in media accessibility in Slovenia.
