The Agency for Communications Networks and Services of the Republic of Slovenia publishes a report on the development of the electronic communications market for the first quarter of 2025.
During the period under review, the trend of growth in the number of broadband internet access connections with speeds of at least 100 Mbit/s continued, mainly due to the growth in the number of connections based on FTTH technology and the growth in the number of fixed-mobile broadband internet access connections (which are counted as fixed access). Of the convergence services, the number of triplex and doublex packages increased the most in Q1, while on the other hand, the number of quadruplex packages decreased the most. The growth trend in the number of active mobile telephony and mobile broadband users also continued. Mobile broadband Internet access traffic almost reached 120 million gigabytes in the quarter under review.
