In 2025, the Agency for Communication Networks and Services of the Republic of Slovenia carried out two surveys on the satisfaction and needs of postal users. The survey measured the satisfaction and needs of postal service users among the general public, as well as among the business public. The aim of the survey is to monitor the use of postal services, the level of satisfaction with the quality of postal services and to identify key trends and expectations of users in the postal market.
The results of the surveys show that postal services remain an important part of everyday life and business processes. They are most frequently used by the general public for parcel collection, especially at their home address, with users highlighting reliability of delivery, speed of transmission, friendliness of staff and delivery information as key quality factors.
Business users regularly use the postal services for sending and receiving parcels and letters, and give the highest priority to reliability, speed and price when choosing a provider.
Both surveys also confirm the trend of a gradual decline in the use of traditional letter services and the stable or increasing role of parcel services linked to the development of online commerce and modern delivery methods. The findings represent an important source of information for users, postal service providers and other stakeholders and contribute to a better understanding of the development of the postal market in Slovenia.
The two surveys are published in full in the annexes. The Agency adds that it will also publish the surveys as soon as possible in a format that complies with the provisions of the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act.
